We are sad to report that Greg Page has passed away today, 5/13. This episode was recorded prior to finding out about Greg's passing.

In this episode, Josh and Lara discussed several powerlifting-related topics. They covered the selection process for the U.S.A. Powerlifting team for IDFPA Worlds, with Josh advocating for alternates to be selected based on DOTS points rather than just the next best total in each weight class. They also talked about upcoming coach certification courses, with deadlines of May 14th for both the online Club Coach certification and the in-person National Coach Certification. Josh provided an update on the Minnesota lawsuit settlement involving transgender athlete J.C. Cooper, though specific details about the settlement were limited. Josh and Lara reminded listeners about an ongoing call for submissions of uplifting songs, with a May 16th deadline. They concluded by discussing proper coaching practices, including a scenario about handling multiple lifters at the same meet, and shared a tip about treating the first rep in a set like it's a meet situation.
